Luminous Literacy founder, Janel M. Hemmings is a dedicated Literacy Specialist and Orton-Gillingham Tutor with over 25 years of experience. She specializes in evidence-based reading instruction, holding advanced certifications from IMSLEC accredited Fairleigh Dickinson University, Wilson Language Training, and the Center for Effective Reading Instruction. Ms. Hemmings is deeply committed to empowering struggling readers by first conducting a comprehensive assessment plan, designing a scope for learning, and delivering high-quality Structured Literacy instruction to all of her clients.
